Diversity and Equality

Our Diversity and Equality Committee, made up of parents and staff, works together to ensure every member of our community feels welcome and respected. We consider all types of diversity, including race, gender, religion, culture, SEND, disability and neurodiversity. 

By looking at our policies and practices, and gathering the opinions of parents, pupils and staff, we aim to build on what we do well in this area, and make changes in order to best support and celebrate all members of our community.

Our work in this area includes:

• teaching world faiths as part of our RE curriculum;
• supporting pupils with SEND;
• supporting EAL pupils;
• supporting a range of awareness days and weeks, including mental health, disability and sign language;
• training for staff on aspects of inclusivity;
• culture day.
