Wrap-a-round Care

A very warm welcome to Re:play!

Dear Parents/Carers,

Re:play provides a safe, secure and fun environment for all children aged 4-11 years old to play, learn and develop. We are a well established (operating since 2005), reliable and friendly Breakfast, After School and Holiday Club childcare provider and we are open all year round!

Children are closely supervised by our friendly team of qualified & experienced staff who are thoroughly vetted (this includes Enhanced DBS Checks). We maintain a low adult to child ratio of 1:8 for under 8’s and 1:10 for over 8’s and are registered & inspected by OFSTED. Our Managers and Deputies are Level 3 qualified in childcare and are Designated Child Protection Officers with relevant safeguarding training (updated every 3 years). We always have at least one staff member on site who hold a current Paediatric First Aid qualification and staff also have many other childcare related qualifications between them such as Level 2 in childcare, safeguarding, Food Hygiene and many more.

Our main aim at Re:play is to facilitate children’s play and education alongside a range of fun activities, games and sports (which are carefully planned to meet the needs of the different ages, stages and interests of the children) in a safe, secure and welcoming environment. We firmly believe that every child matters and that their voices should be heard. We endeavour to provide activities which promote this including activity planning & leading by children, listening and developing their new ideas. We facilitate children’s play through a range of exciting activities and work in close partnership with the school.

We are committed to meeting the physical and social needs of the children in our care from their first day at school to their final days as a junior, through activities that differ from those that occur within the school day, and by providing a wide variety of fun indoor and outdoor activities and experiences.

Our team of dedicated childcare professionals actively promote good working relationships between schools, parents, children and staff encouraging positive outcomes for children of all ethnic origins, religions, cultures, linguistic backgrounds and abilities ensuring that they feel valued and respected.

We all have lots of fun at Re:play and we’re sure your child(ren) will do too!

The Re:play team!

BREAKFAST CLUB

Open from 7.30am

Children enjoy fun activities & games before school!

Breakfast Club is held at Skyswood school for SJF children. Children can be dropped off to us any time after 7.30am & you must sign your child in before leaving. We provide a healthy Breakfast with cereals (*no nuts & no chocolate cereals), toast with various spreads and different fresh fruits. After Breakfast, children can take part in fun activities & games before school starts! We then escort St John Fisher children safely to school in time to start the school day. *All sessions must be booked on in advance & are secured on a permanent basis- although we do can also offer ad hoc sessions when spaces allow.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB

Fun and games after school!

Open until 6.15pm (we also offer a 5.15pm session)

Children in years 1-6 meet Re:play staff in the School Dining Hall, where our club is held. To meet the needs of our younger (EYFS) children in Reception class, we ensure extra support & liase with their teachers by collecting them from their classroom. Once everyone has arrived at Re:play, staff members sign all the children in. Children are split into two age groups (4-7years & 8-11years) for particular activities & for mealtimes, to ensure their very different welfare & developmental needs are catered for. In these groups, they participate in various planned activities & games, which change from day to day. These include sports, cooking activities, messy activities, art & craft, team games, games, quizzes, treasure hunts, party days and much more!

We also offer a ‘light snack’ after school, serving cold foods such as sandwiches, bagels, rice cakes, fruit & savoury snacks e.g. sausage rolls (dietary requirements & allergies catered for). *Please note this is not a substitute for an evening meal, more a snack to keep the children going as they are always hungry after school!

To collect your child from After school Club please ring the Re:play doorbell which is located at the doors to the left of the main entrance – near the bike racks. *All sessions must be booked on in advance & are secured on a permanent basis- although we do can also offer ad hoc sessions when spaces allow
