WELCOME TO YEAR 5!
Dear Year 5 families,
Welcome to Year 5! I am very excited to be working with you and teaching your children in the autumn term. The year 5 curriculum has many engaging topics and I look forward to delving into these together.
I have been teaching for over 20 years, across years 1 to 7. I really enjoy the teaching profession and have a particular passion for the subjects of mathematics and reading. I believe that reading is the most valuable skill to gain, as it serves as a passport to all other areas of learning. In addition to this, I also understand that every person is an individual, and therefore thinks and learns differently. It is part of my job to help each pupil grow as a learner and as a person of good character.
I hope you have a wonderful summer break and I look forward to seeing you all on the 2nd September.
